Shaping better lives through Equipment Donations

Meet Thande from Botswana. Thande’s family do not have the resources to provide her with a wheelchair, so thanks to the help of New Zealand’s Altus Trust, Medifab have shaped a better life by donating a Swingbo wheelchair, kitted out with Vigour cushion and a Manta adjustable backrest.

I’m not sure how to thank you enough for your generosity to the Altus Trust and to Thande!

Thank you so much for your donation to us of the wheelchair and seating for this wee girl. Both she and her family were thrilled.

We got it to them an hour before they flew out to Botswana so couldn’t quite do a perfect job but have given the family lots of pointers on what to look for and adjust and will send one or two additions for them to use.

They and we were so grateful. Please pass on our thanks to all involved!
